What is computer system

Computer system is a functional unit consisting of one or more computers and associated software,that:

• uses common storage for all or part of a program and also for all or part of the data necessary for the execution of the program
• executes user-written or user-designated programs
• performs user-designated data manipulation,including arithmetic and logic operations

What is input and input devices

INPUT
Input is whatever that goes into the computer.It can take a variety of forms,from commands you enter from the keyboard to data from another computer or devices.


INPUT DEVICES
Any machine that feeds data into a computer.

PROCESS
Process is the action of manipulating the input into a more useful form.


PROCESSOR

The processor (CPU, for Central Processing Unit) is the computer's brain. It allows the processing of numeric data, meaning information entered in binary form, and the execution of instructions stored in memory.

STORAGE
Storage is computer components and recording media that retain digital data used for computing for some interval of time.


STORAGE DEVICES
Storage devices is hardware device capable of storing information.
There are two storage devices used in computers:

• Primary devices

• Secondary devices
